Snow Miku 2022

My entry for the Snow Miku contest 2022. The theme is "The Ocean Inspired by the Hokkaido Winter"

My design was a mixture of somethings; magical girls, snow and a water cute touch! You can see the transparent part of the skirt inspired by jellyfishes and the hat inspired by a white seal. Also, I added two corals paroding the leeks that Miku usually carry with her, a bottle with a musical pentagram and a microphone.

What is Snow Miku?
Snow Miku is the character who enlivens the wintery Hokkaido.

The design is based on "a pure white snow sculpture of 'Hatsune Miku,'" that was created for "Sapporo Snow Festival 2010." Since then, a Snow Miku festival using her as a main character has been held in Hokkaido every year.

The costume design for Snow Miku is selected in an online competition on different themes every year. Everyone can take part in, it is held on Piapro.net.
